
Impressive midfielder Kelechi Nwakali has confirmed his readiness to help the Super Eagles soar at the 2021 African Cup of Nations which started on Sunday, January 9, in Cameroon.
With 24 hours to the Super Eagles’ first game against Egypt at the African Cup of Nations, the spirit of the Nigerian players in camp is high and ready to face the Pharaohs.
The game against Egypt is expected to be a tough encounter considering the pedigrees of these two nations and Kelechi Nwakali explained that the aim of the Super Eagles is to win.

“We are here to write our names in the history books, make our families and our country proud.
“If it happens that we win the competition, fine but the most important thing is to represent Nigeria in flying colours.
“That’s the mindset of everybody, that’s the first goal. It is football and we don’t predict what will happen but we work as a team to win the competition.”
