FIFA World Cup is the pinnacle of international football and winning it is very tough. Every four years, people from all over the world wait for this moment. This year, we are witnessing one of the most exciting World Cups ever with many upsets and surprises.

Argentina was considered one of the favorites to win the FIFA World Cup in Qatar; however, after suffering a defeat at the hands of Saudi Arabia in their first game of the tournament, their chances of claiming the title have significantly decreased.

Since the beginning of the FIFA World Cup in 1930, only one nation has been successful in winning the competition despite having lost their first game in the competition.

Spain is the only country to have accomplished this remarkable goal. After starting the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa with a loss to Switzerland in their opening match, Spain went on to win the tournament after playing in Group H alongside Chile and Honduras.

The Spaniards needed to win their next two matches, one against Honduras and the other against Chile, in order to finish first in the group despite having lost their first match. During the knockout stages, Spain was victorious over countries such as Portugal, Paraguay, and Germany before ultimately defeating the Netherlands in the final.
